Questions physicians ask
I run a practice with staff. Is this for me?
The autonomous model is designed for practices that want to reduce or eliminate administrative staff. If you are happy with your current staffing, the course still teaches you which tasks can be automated to give existing staff their time back. But the biggest wins come to practices building from scratch or actively downsizing overhead.
I do not use ModMed. Is this course still useful?
Yes. The four core automations (fax, voicemail, scheduling, check-in) work with any modern cloud EMR that has API access. ModMed is what I use, so specific workflows are demonstrated on ModMed. Adaptation to other platforms is covered in the course.
What if I am not technical?
You do not need to be. The course is designed to be taught by a physician, for a physician. Everything is explained in plain language. That said, you or someone on your team needs to be willing to click through setup wizards and follow instructions. If you want a fully hands-off vendor to do it for you, coaching may be a better fit.
How long does it take to implement?
Course-only physicians typically implement their first automation (fax intake) in 2 to 4 weeks of part-time work. Full front-office automation takes 2 to 3 months. Coaching clients typically deploy fax and voicemail in 6 weeks of guided sessions.
What does this cost beyond the course?
You will need subscriptions to Keragon (about $149/mo at Professional tier), Klara (varies), and your existing EMR. Course pricing is separate. Realistic total monthly platform cost for a solo practice is $300 to $500 per month, which typically pays for itself within the first month of eliminating one employee.
